Getting Started

Everything you need to know before your first PLAYGROUND class.
Which class should I book first?
New clients and anyone unfamiliar with the reformer should begin with PLAY Foundations. You’ll learn how to use the equipment, explore essential movement patterns and become familiar with the PLAYGROUND coaching approach.
Do I need previous Pilates experience?

Come as you are!
PLAY Foundations is designed specifically for first-time clients and reformer beginners.

If you already feel comfortable using a reformer, you may be ready to join PLAY Flow.

Do I need to be flexible to be able to do Pilates?

Not at all. You do not need a particular level of strength, flexibility or fitness to begin.

Our coaches provide different options so you can work at an appropriate level and progress gradually.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, fitted athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Avoid clothing with zips or hard details that may catch on the reformer.

Grip socks are recommended for all reformer classes. If you don’t have one, you can grab one at our studio.

What should I bring?
Bring grip socks, a water bottle, small towel, and positive vibes.
We provide all the equipment required for your class.
When should I arrive?

Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your first class. This gives you time to find the studio, get settled, meet your coach and ask any questions.

For future visits, arriving five minutes early is recommended.

What happens if I am late?

For your safety and to avoid disrupting the class, late entry may not be possible once the session has started.

Please allow extra time for your first visit.

What is reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a full-body movement practice performed using a spring-based machine called a reformer.

The equipment provides both resistance and support, allowing exercises to be adapted for different bodies, abilities and training goals.

How long are the classes?

All group and Private Coaching sessions are 50 minutes.

How many people are in each class?

Our studio has 10 reformers, allowing us to provide small-group coaching and individual guidance throughout the session.

What is the difference between PLAY and GROUND?

PLAY classes focus on building strength, confidence, control and physical capability.

GROUND classes support mobility, recovery, mindful movement and the connection between body and mind.

How often should I attend?

For most clients, two or three sessions per week provide a practical balance between progress and recovery.

However, consistency matters more than intensity. Even one regular weekly class can be a valuable place to begin.

Will I feel sore afterwards?

You may experience some mild muscle soreness, especially when you are new to reformer Pilates or working in unfamiliar ways.

Sharp, unusual or persistent pain is not expected. Please speak to your coach if something does not feel right.

Are classes taught in English or Polish?

Our classes are taught in English. However, we will open Polish classes in the near future. The class language will be displayed in the booking schedule, allowing you to choose the session that suits you.
